Watch Centro is an independent guide to buying watches. We focus on one question: what is a given watch worth, and who should buy it? Every guide is built around a real buying decision, such as which cheap mechanical watch to choose or whether a fashion brand is worth the money.
What you will find here
Buyer guides with current prices, comparison tables, and plain-language verdicts. We cover affordable and mid-range watches from brands such as Hamilton, Seiko, Citizen, Tissot and Nixon, and we explain the tradeoffs between quartz, automatic and hand-wound movements.
How we research
Prices come from brand websites and authorized retailers and are dated in each article. Specifications come from manufacturer pages. When a model is discontinued or a price changes, we update the article instead of leaving old numbers up. If we have not handled a watch ourselves, we do not claim to have worn it.
Updates and corrections
Watch prices and lineups change often. Each guide shows when its prices were last checked. If you spot an error, tell us through the contact page and we will correct it.
