Watch Market Report: Tight GMT Asks, Patek Nautilus Cuts

The Batman (116710BLNR) is asking $14,950 at the median, with the middle half of listings between $14,900 and $15,000. The Datejust references and the Patek Nautilus listings are far looser, so there is more room to negotiate there. Datejust is also the most-mentioned model today at 71 posts, double the Submariner.

Covers 24 hours through October 18, 2026.

The short version: Tight clusters like the Batman at $14,900 to $15,000 mean sellers agree on the number, so expect little movement. Wide spreads on the Datejust and Nautilus are where a lower offer has a chance.

Where asks are tight and where they spread

The Batman (116710BLNR) is the cleanest read. Six full set listings sit at a $14,950 median, with the 25th to 75th percentile running $14,900 to $15,000.

The Cookie Monster (126619LB) is just as tight: five full sets at a $34,750 median, with the upper quartile at $35,275. The Explorer II 216570 is similar at $9,200, with the middle of the range at $8,750 to $9,500, and about half of those are full set.

The Datejust is the opposite. The 126334 is asking a $16,000 median on full sets, but the range runs $14,000 to $17,000. The 126333 has a $18,050 median with a range of $15,762 to $18,238, and the 126233 starts at $14,500 and reaches $16,250 on the upper end. That is a $2,000 to $3,000 spread inside one reference, so shop around before paying the top of it.

Treat the tightest rows with some care. Several of these are cross-posted dealer inventory, so identical prices are often one watch listed repeatedly. The Daytona 126518LN in yellow-gold with a meteorite dial, median $85,950, is a single watch posted four times.

Patek Nautilus cuts and the notable listings

The Nautilus 5712GR is flagged as a price drop, with four dealer listings in a $83,200 to $89,950 range. The 5726A is asking $78,950 at the median, with the low end at $72,950. Both are mixed on set completeness, so compare the box and papers before comparing the numbers.

The Cartier Calibre Diver WGCA0009 is listed at $17,500 against a $33,000 MSRP, roughly 47 percent below retail. Price-cut mentions today covered about four distinct watches, which also included an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept Tourbillon 26587TI and a Parmigiani Tonda PF Sport.

Other listings worth a look: a Rolex Day-Date 228239 at $41,495, a Lady-Datejust 179138 at $19,599, a Patek Philippe Calatrava Pilot 7234R at $30,000, and a Cartier Ballon Bleu W3BB0024 at $12,895. On the low end, a Cartier Tank Must WSTA0055 is $3,995. In Tudor, the Black Bay 58 GMT 79660 has a $3,250 median with the top quartile at $4,250, and the Ranger 79950 has a $3,500 median on full sets.

What people are chasing

Rolex took 242 brand mentions, far ahead of Omega at 51, Tudor at 46, Patek Philippe at 35 and Audemars Piguet at 25. By model, the Datejust leads at 71 mentions, followed by the Submariner at 35. The Black Bay and Seamaster are level at 27, then GMT-Master at 26, with the Speedmaster and Royal Oak both at 25.

Wanted-to-buy posts were thin. Of 12 WTB posts, only a few stated a budget. The one specific ask was $8,600 for a BNIB 2026 Tudor 79360 pink. Two other budgets, $3,000 and $4,000, were on vague requests.

The Patek Calatrava Pilot also reached 13 mentions, nearly all for the Travel Time references, level with the Daytona and Explorer II.

Payment terms on current listings

Payment terms lean toward wire, Zelle or bankwire-only. Several listings offer a crypto discount, and several add a 3.8 to 4 percent surcharge for credit cards. If you are buying from a dealer, paying by wire is the cheaper route. 2026-dated unworn Rolex full sets were also widely cross-posted.

A narrow ask range tells you sellers agree on the price, and a wide one tells you they do not. The Datejust and Nautilus are the second kind today.

How we read the market: figures come from for-sale and wanted-to-buy posts in the buy and sell groups we follow during the period shown. Medians use posts with a stated price or budget, and the same watch can appear in more than one group. This is a read on the market, not an appraisal, price quote or financial advice.
