Watch Market Report: Datejust Volume and Daytona Spreads

Datejust is the volume story: 106 mentions, and four references carry 52 listings between them. Daytona pricing splits. The 126519LN asks sit in a tight band around $44k, while the 126500LN asks span $5,850.

Covers 24 hours through October 20, 2026.

The short version: On the 126234 and 278274 Datejust references, asks cluster near $14k and nearly all are full set, so pay for condition, not paperwork. On the 126500LN, the spread between asks is wide enough that shopping around pays.

Rolex Datejust and Daytona asking prices

Datejust is where the listings are. The 126234 and 126334 have 15 each, the 278274 has 12, the 126333 has 10. Medians sit at $13,900, $14,797, $14,700 and $17,500.

The 126234 is the cleanest row. Fourteen of 15 are full set, and the bottom quarter starts at $13,800 against a median of $13,900. The 126333 is the loose one: $15,200 to $19,350 across the middle half, with 7 of 10 full set.

Daytona splits two ways. The 126519LN runs $43,462 to $44,438 across the middle half. The 126500LN has 16 listings from $30,275 to $36,125 and about half are full set. A $5,850 spread on a $33k watch is where a buyer has something to work with.

The 126506 shows seven listings at $117,000 to $117,750. That is likely one watch listed more than once.

Median ask by reference with the middle-half range and full-set mix. Identical prices across several listings are often one watch listed more than once.

Notable listings: Patek 5811, GMT 126755SARU and price cuts

The Patek Philippe Nautilus 5811 with the blue ombré dial is up at $187,400, full set. The Rolex GMT 126755SARU in rose gold is $128,000. At that number, we would want to see the price move first.

Price cuts show up lower down. The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore 26420SO is $32,000 after a cut. A Datejust 126303, NOS and two-tone, is $12,800 after a cut. That is under the 126234 median. A 2026 unworn Datejust 41 is $14,200, also cut.

The Tudor Black Bay Chrono 79360N row has a median of $5,250 and it means little. Standard Panda dials ask $4,300 to $5,250. The Flamingo Blue edition asks $9,250 to $9,750, at least $4,000 above the top Panda ask. The Tudor Ranger 79950 is the opposite: 11 listings, all full set, $3,074 to $3,500 across the middle half.

What buyers are chasing: Datejust, GMT-Master and Black Bay

Datejust leads model mentions at 106. GMT-Master has 68, Tudor Black Bay 65, Submariner 62, Daytona 54, Omega Seamaster 42. Sky-Dweller has 32 and Speedmaster 29. Overseas and Explorer are level at 19.

Rolex has 167 brand mentions. Tudor is next at 63, then Omega at 49 and Vacheron Constantin at 22. Audemars Piguet has 14 and Patek Philippe 8.

The wanted list leans Rolex, 7 of 11 entries: a yellow gold Sky-Dweller 326938, a Datejust 16234, the 228239, 226658 and 228238, an Explorer 224270 and a Submariner 124060. Outside Rolex, buyers want a Tudor Black Bay 79230B, a Girard-Perregaux Laureato 38 in sage, an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 15510BC and a Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin.

The Batgirl (126710BLNR) has 14 listings at a $18,250 median, $17,000 to $19,700 across the middle half. The Sky-Dweller 336934 has 11 at $23,950 and the Submariner 126610LN has 8 at $13,250. The Submariner’s bottom quarter starts at $13,138.

Payment terms, price cuts and duplicate listings

Payment skews to wire or Zelle first. Several listings add a 3.5 percent surcharge for credit cards and note a crypto discount.

There are 10 price-cut mentions, 6 of them distinct. There are 213 identical listing texts spread across more than one group, with BNIB 2026-dated Rolex full sets moving widely. Counts on the common references are inflated by that, so discount the listing counts above. There are 18 sold posts in the window.

Fifty-one posts mention trades. Nearly all of it is dealer boilerplate.

Of 20 WTB posts, one stated a budget: $2,000 to $4,000 for an unspecified full set. Buyers are naming references. Sellers are the ones naming numbers.

How we read the market: figures come from for-sale and wanted-to-buy posts in the buy and sell groups we follow during the period shown. Medians use posts with a stated price or budget, and the same watch can appear in more than one group. This is a read on the market, not an appraisal, price quote or financial advice.
